About Andhra Pradesh:-

Andhra Pradesh is a state located in Southern India, capital – Amaravati, Formed on 1st November, 1956. The Area of Andhra Pradesh is 1,60,205 sq km, with population 49.67 million (According to Census 2011), with rural population of 3,48,00,000 people and Urban population of 1,46,00,000  people in total with the Density of 308 per sq. km. The Male Population of Andhra Pradesh is 4,24,42,146 people and Female population is 4,21,38,631 in total, with the sex ratio of 996 Female per 1000 Male. Andhra Pradesh has the literacy rate of 67.02% (DATA ACCORDING TO CENSUS 2011).

Geography Of Andhra Pradesh:-

Andhra Pradesh share its border with Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Orrisa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Bay of Bengal. It has coast line of 975 km long, which is the second largest coastline behind Gujarat. The states includes the eastern part of Deccan Plateau as well as a considerable part of the Eastern Ghats. Andhra Pradesh has a total of 12 districts that are situated along its coastline. The coast extends from Ichcha Puram in Srikakulam district to Tirupati district and lies geographically between the coasts of Orissa and Tamil Nadu. Coastal wetlands cover an area of 1,140.7 Sq. km.
